The lack of communication between the employees and their management is a joke. Even in the summer time Ive had to were a jacket because the a/c was too powerful. The theaters themselves are spacious, well maintained and have comfortable, adjustable seats, however, they do need to work on temperature control as its consistently cold in the theater which is not good considering 1/3 of Maines year is winter. The concessions are okay though I usually only ever get popcorn, but every time Ive asked for a slice of pizza as promoted on their menus, they say they dont have pizza at the time so thats a little frustrating, especially when the hot dog is disgusting. The ticket prices are fair and reasonable, especially if one goes during the day and doesnt see a 3D show. I especially love the rewards program which crosses over with the Drive-In during the warmer months (however, the Drive-In have soft pretzels listed at $10 which is ridiculous and worthless for the quality of the product). Overall, I prefer this theater to the cheap seats on Odlin Road as it is continually a pleasant experience barring a few minor bumps that I can overlook. I hardly wish for people to be fired but the Ticket Taker has consistently acted like this for many years now with little to no change seen. Its very uncomfortable to be in that situation, even not directly. So beware when hes standing guard and always make sure to have your ticket, especially when leaving for a potty break mid-show. The situation was resolved quickly when a manager was called over who SIMPLY said my father was okay to go in upon showing his receipt. June 2017 Edit: Finally encountered the Ticket Checker (oft called Nazi but thats too extreme) and the way he spoke to my father, a man in his late 50s was rude and condescending when all my father received from the ticket stand was two receipts vs a receipt and his ticket.
